Is there an age limit?
This is an adult event.
Attendees must be 18+
IDs will be checked at the entry of the event.
Is there a dress code for the ball?
Formal fantasy attire, black tie, or fantasy roleplay costumes (ie: bar wench, handmaiden, etc.)
Can I cosplay?
Absolutely! As long as it fits within the fantasy book theme, we encourage it!
How can I get in touch if I want to collaborate?
We are always looking for collaborators.

Is your ball based on a specific book series?
Our events are not specifically based on a book or series, however they are inspired by fantasy trends and popular literary tropes.
Can I attend the ball from outside of Georgia?
Yes!
We would love for you to visit, whether you are coming from over seas or out of state.
If you aren't sure where you should stay, please join our facebook page to meet other attendees, as well as perusing the list of recommended hotels in the area!
What if I have no one to go with?
A lot of people will come to our events on their own.
Visit our facebook group to meet and make plans with other guests attending the ball!
Is this a role-play event?
Although this is not specifically meant to be a role-play event, it is welcome!
Are prop swords or other weapons allowed at the ball?
To ensure the safety of our guests, we are not allowing prop weapons, this includes peace tied and foam LARP weapons.
Decorative props such as wings or fans are allowed within reason– space is limited so please be mindful of other guests.

Where are you located?
The first event will be in Suwanee, Georgia!
What is the venue?
Genesis Ballroom in Suwanee, Georgia!
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We will have event-themed cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, soda, and water available!
Will there be on site parking?
Yes! The venue is located in the same parking area as a shopping center so there is plenty of parking available!
Will there be security at the venue?
Yes, we will have security on site.
Will there be a coat check?
No, there will not be a coat check, as space is limited. But once you have received your entry ticket, you will be able to come & go as you please throughout the evening!
Will there be places to rest and sit down?
Yes, there will be.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible!
Ticket & Add On Details
I can no longer attend. Am I able to get a refund?
No, tickets are nonrefundable.
You are able to privately sell your ticket.
However, we cannot verify or guarantee admission passes or ticket purchases that are not made directly from Book Lush Events LLC. If you purchase tickets from a fan or other seller, it might not be legitimate once on site.
As we cannot be held responsible for second-hand sales, the first person using the PDF is considered the owner of the admission pass or autograph/photo op ticket. If you have purchased a fraudulent ticket, it will not be honored.
Will there be mocktails in lieu of alcohol?
Yes! We will provide mocktails, soda, and water.
How does the High Fae add on work?
The High Fae add on will allow the attendee to dance with one of our incredible actors who will be in attendance, cosplaying as some of their favorite characters. The ticket is good for two consecutive songs.
Can I purchase additional add ons later on after I've already made a purchase?
Absolutely! Add-ons can be added until they are marked as “sold-out” – whether that is before the event, or at the event!
